Your role
As a Trainee, your main responsibilities will involve:
- Support of existing actuarial projects in the area of reporting/reserving/modelling
- Support of new initiatives in the area of AI
- Support of data management in finance (R/Python)
- Development of claim life cycle model for calculation of claim reserves (Python, interest to learn about predictive models)
As a Trainee, your skills and experience will ideally include:
- University student in actuarial science, finance, statistics, mathematics, econometrics or similar – not in the final year
- Communication skills, fluent in English
- Creative, open-minded and proactive approach
- Willingness to cooperate closely within an international team
- Willingness to embrace an actuarial career
- Experience with programming in R or Python is an advantage

- Wage: 8 EUR/hour
- Location(s): Bratislava
- Hybrid working: It would be nice to meet you in the office 2-3 times a week, if you live close by. We are also open to hear your preference to work from home more often.
- Schedule: part-time
- Student part-time contract – 20 hours/ week
- Flexible working time to match your university schedule
