Náplň práce

Become a member of Pricing and Analytics Hub supporting APAC Regional Pricing team and General Insurance Pricing teams across APAC in various analytical and reporting activities.

As a Pricing Analyst, you will play a crucial role in preparing data, building models, and ensuring compliance with governance requirements. 

Your role
As a Pricing Analyst, your main responsibilities will involve:  

  1. Data Preparation and Expertise:
    • Prepare local data into Emblem-ready format.
    • Provide expertise on utilizing dynamic factors within existing data, such as claims history.
  2. Model Building and Review:
    • Build models in Emblem.
    • Review and assist local teams in fitting variates and interactions.
  3. Radar Model Building and Maintenance:
    • Use Radar to build models.
    • Set up models for maintenance, calibration, and AvE (Actual vs. Expected) analysis.
  4. Documentation and Governance:
    • Ensure appropriate levels of documentation are in place to adhere to Model Risk Governance requirements.
  5. Efficiency and Refreshing Exercises:
    • Prioritize the ability for the local team to efficiently refresh this exercise.
Your Skills and Experience
As a Pricing Analyst, your skills and experience will ideally include: 
  • Education: University degree in Financial Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Quantitative Methods, Computer Science, or similar.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in analytics or data management, preferably within the insurance industry.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Emblem and Radar.
    • Familiarity with programming languages (SAS, R, SQL) and tools (GIT, Azure) is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
    • Willingness to help others and develop people skills.
  • Language: English – Upper intermediate (B2 or better), spoken and written.
